The Verpeilspitze, 3.425 m, is one of the majestic peaks around the Kaunergrat hut. The climb to the Verpeilspitze requires climbing in grade II (UIAA) and solid hiking in loose rock. On the top you benefit from a great panoramic view on the Kaunergrat mountain range.

Overview

From the Kaunergrat hut towards Schwabenjoch. Ascent across a steep rubble chute, then some lovely climbing sections (difficulty level II UIAA). Then we reach the summit offering a beautiful view of Watzespitze and other mountains.
